We have been asked to integrate 3 different applications recently into client websites and they all have APIs…
The Good: Broadbean – Easy to setup, has a WordPress plugin, great support
The Ugly: Vebra – Took a long time to setup, has data problems
So its amazing how different APIs can be. I guess it depends on how much time and resource a company spends when setting up their API. All 3 of the above do have the same type of API in as much that a XML file returns data after making an API call. But what differs a lot is the quality of the data in the XML file and how often and easy it is to make that call.
